Meet Stephanie Alexander, your instructor

25 Years of Care Expertise

Stephanie Alexander spent 25 years in Minnesota social services: PCA work, group home management, case management at the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance, and quality assurance management at Ramsey County, overseeing services for about 10,000 people.

She's also a family caregiver for her cousin. She knows the system from the inside, and she knows what it feels like to be the tired family member trying to figure it out.

In 2025, she founded Northern Lights Living to provide non-medical in-home care for Twin Cities families. In front of a room, she's warm, funny, and refreshingly honest. She says the quiet part out loud, and people leave feeling less alone.
